Love INC Gap Ministries

Gap Ministries are designed to provide a resource or service to our Love INC clients. Many times, Gap Ministries are able to meet ongoing community needs that are not currently or sufficiently met by agencies, government, or churches (“gaps in the community”).

Other benefits:

  • Gap Ministries help provide more and more ways for us to connect with our community partners: schools, hospitals, local government, judicial system, other nonprofits, etc.

  • Gap Ministries almost always lead to an increase in call volume. More calls means more opportunities to touch people’s lives with the Love of Christ, AND more opportunities to become aware even more needs that our community has.

  • Gap Ministries help provide us with measurable numbers of needs met and unique stories that we can present to donors and churches.

  • Gap Ministries will naturally lead to more involvement in our Life INC classes.

Overall, Gap Ministries help our Love INC meet many, many more needs much more quickly and efficiently.

Christmas Basket Ministry

Once a year, our area churches come together to bless anyone in need with a huge basket of goodies and gifts. During the holiday season of 2020, we were able to give away 45 baskets into the community, representing over 150 individuals.

 

Medical Transportation Vehicle

The Love INC Medical Transportation Van is a Gap Ministry specifically designed for the current times of COVID-19. During these times, our partner pastors, and Lewistown’s own hospital have seen a need for non-emergent medical transport.

Our transportation van is not equipped to deal with crisis or emergent situations. For emergency medical situations, call our local ambulance and first responders at 911.

  1. While the Love INC Medical Transportation Van is not set up to deal with emergencies, we are able to handle COVID symptom displaying individuals who cannot otherwise secure transport to health care providers. 

  • For routine doctor’s appointments, it is recommended that the individual find another form of transportation, such as the Central Montana Shuttle, or a friend or family member.

  1. The Love INC Medical Transportation Van can be used in cases such as (1) a possible COVID case (with a need to be tested), or (2) exhibiting extreme symptoms of another illness that requires a doctor’s visit, etc. 

  2. Transportation to a Lewistown clinic or hospital can be arranged for individuals located in Fergus, Petroleum, or Judith Basin counties.
